Find and clear hiding spots for the silverfish
During the day, the animals like to hide behind edge strips, loose wallpaper and in closures. My own experiences with silverfish
The use of a silverfish trap combined with silverfish spray has already brought good results. The sticky traps were filled with dozens of these little insects after 2-3 days. So I initially had to replace them twice a week. That we understand each other correctly at this point is not a test for a silverfish trap, but my recommendations based on my own experience. I don't think there is a “real test” for fighting silverfish online.
Most successful, however, was my decision of all possible Hideout of the insects to find and to seal. Accordingly, I sealed all the edge strips in my entire apartment with silicone. I used silverfish spray in inaccessible places, for example behind my kitchen cabinets. I also paid attention to the correct ventilation of the rooms.
