Why the Tribit Stormbox?
I already know them UE mega boom, but wanted a cheaper Bluetooth jukebox that is similar in quality and features. Rummaged in the internet and came across the Stormbox. The speaker was often equivalent or rated very good at a much cheaper price like a UE mega boom. Since it should only be for the garden and now and then for on the go, sounded Contributions and tests to the Tribit Stormbox are promising.
The Tribit speaker box is IPX7 water protection. If it should fall into the pool or get rain, it is well protected. I myself held it underwater for a few seconds later, nothing happened and continued to play normally without damage. Other tests with standing in the water for 30 minutes also held up well.
The Silicone loop I liked it right away. A loop is simply practical for the bike or to attach to a backpack. Hanging in the garden is very comfortable thanks to the silicone loop. If you want, you can remove it from the Tribit Stormbox.
The Design and simplicity I liked the big BUTTONS very much. The additional function with the XBASS - where you can take bass out or amplify it - is practical.
Der Preis of about 60 € made the decision clear. A UE mega boom costs a lot more, but of course also offers a little more. Although you should refrain from the sound, but I was in good spirits and ordered the Tribit Stormbox.

Experience with the Tribit Stormbox
The most important thing now to the sound of music. This bluetooth speaker sounds okay to me. The volume should not be turned up to 100%, because here, as with many other speakers, the sound, the bass, etc. overdrive and no longer sound properly. At 80-90% of the volume, I think it's okay. The volume itself, what the box shoots out, is fully sufficient for my needs. If you want more, you can buy a 2nd music box from Tribit and couple them together. But be careful it go only pair 2 devices, At a UE MEGABOOM you can couple 4 or more together.
Usage
When grilling on the terrace or by the pool, the smartphone is connected to the Stormbox. Pairing is quick and easy. With the silicone loop, the speaker is quickly attached somewhere, since it is a 360 degree speaker, the sound comes out of the box well. The 10 meters via Bluetooth are also completely sufficient in the garden. The Tribit Stormbox as a center speaker on TV brings even better sound and bass like from the TV itself Fire TV Stick used by Amazon to pair the wireless speaker, all without problems.
Charging the Stormbox is uncomplicated and normal like any other device, depending on the charger it takes time to fully charge. 4 white LEDs indicate the charge status. The buttons are super big and there aren't many, so operation is completely easy. The protective cap for the AUX-IN and the charging port is quite difficult to come off, but it is well protected from water, so everything is good.
Conclusion: Tribit Stormbox
The bluetooth music box from Tribit fully meets my expectations and needs. Waterproof and easy to transport make this jukebox a great outdoor Bluetooth jukebox for the garden. Since I think the price is completely okay, I can only recommend this wireless speaker!
